We drove for about two hours before we got to Kuta! The place we were staying was a really nice villa. Me and lottie dibsed the master bedroom which had a really big bathroom. The kitchen was outside and you had a very big selection of where to sit: sun-lounger, beanbag, sofa, high stalls and normal chairs. We also had a small pool and grass area to ourselves! There was a load of dogs around  our villa and they were really cute. We went out Into town and went for a drink at a nice cafe. I got a berry smoothie which tasted amazing! Then we went to the supermarket to get some food for dinner. There were lots of motorbikes and dogs about and we had a look in some restaurants. At home we had some tomato pasta for dinner. We watched a program about George Ezra and then went to bed.

The next day we had breakfast and then got into our swim stuff. We went to the beach twice so I am going to talk about both days  together. We got a taxi to a nice beach for the day! We found sun lounges and beanbags under an umbrella. We went on these swings for a bit and then ran into the sea. It was very cool and refreshing but there was loads of seaweed. The waves were really fun to jump in and out of. We did a litter pick one day and we found a gigantic rope in the ground. There was lots of rope and we also saw Coral, dead fish and other strange things. There was also a wave one day that made me, lottie and daddy. We had fish and chips both days and it was really good. The waves were really good and fun to swim over. We didn’t see any fish which was a bit disappointing. We made a massive volcano out of sand and we turned each other into sand mermaids! We had a lot of fun at the beach!

The last day we went to a different beach  to go surfing! We first practiced on the sand and then we went in the water! One my first go I standed up!!! It was so much fun! I was actually better than I thought I was going to be! If there was a too big wave we just got to float over it on the boards. I standed up on all of my turns and it was just so much fun. I hurt myself a bit but was mostly surprised that my watch didn’t break whilst surfing. My board was much bigger than I thought it was going to be and I could hardly carry it! We didn’t take any pictures (sorry) so here is a description of the atmosphere. The sand was golden as a crown, big waves crash on the surface, sun beating down, surfers surfing in quickly, people chatting and taking selfies and wind slowly flying through the air. For lunch we went for brunch. I had a wrap which took ages to get there because they gave it to the wrong person 😤. In the afternoon we just chilled.

That’s Kuta all done, wonder where we’ll drive next in Indonesia?!
