Follow Our Adventures
This time around we are setting our sights slightly higher in terms of cultural difference compared to our previous trip. The girls were so young, whilst we covered some distance, we predominantly kept to English speaking westernised countries for a variety of reasons, but primarily ease of communication and everything that comes with that.
So the route we have mapped out for ourselves this time will provide a much more diverse travel experience, one where we get to sample a little more of the diversity which makes up the rich tapestry of life on planet earth. We also wanted to visit some places which were completely new for all of us, so whilst there are some familiar stops along the way, we will certainly be exploring new ground together for the first time as a family.
The map alongside with the red lines shows the high level route which depicts this rough itinerary:
Argentina (4 weeks) —> Brazil and Chile (short stays) —> Ecuador & Galápagos Islands (2 weeks) —> Panama (1 week) —> Costa Rica (3 weeks) —> California (1 week) —> Japan (2 weeks) —> Vietnam and Singapore (short stays) —> Indonesia (5 weeks) —> Thailand (1 week) —> Hitchin (for now!)
Below is an interactive map which will plot our actual route and blog posts from each location whilst we are on the road. So you can follow our movements here or jump into the blog pages themselves.
