After breakfast we drove for about three hours to get to the airport. The taxi driver was a bit wild and I puked on the side of the road. We got to the airport and did security and bag drop off and all that stuff. For lunch we had nuggets and chips at this chicken place and it wasn’t great. We got on the plane and about halfway through I was sick again. We landed and drove to an airport hotel for the night. The next day we got on another plane to arrive in Lombok! We drove to our hotel and went to our rooms. There were two rooms and I was with dad. They were quite nice rooms and once we unpacked we went to the pool. There were two different pools, we went to the one at the beach club all the days we were there. I am going to task about all the days in one. I loved twisting and turning in the water and there were water sofas. We had a lot of fun falling on and off it. For basically all the meals I had a burger which was so delicious! One time we went for a walk on the beach and saw some surfers which was quite entertaining.

One day we drove to another hotel so we could get closer to Rinjani volcano! We were going to climb it and camp on top! It would be a six hour uphill hike to get to the top! We stayed in th hotel for the night and then we went to the volcano. Me and Lottie only had to carry the small, grey bags up the volcano. We got to the bottom of the volcano in the back of a truck! We stated the hike and it was mainly hard because there was loads of roots and stuff you had to climb up. We saw a couple of monkeys though which was cool. At the first stop we had this really good chocolate bar called a beng  beng and it was really tasty. We were walking for a long time and it was very tiring. For lunch we had fried rice and some other bits and piece. Also at lunch there was a tone of monkeys! Some of the baby ones were especially cute.

The hike started to get harder because we were getting out of the forest more and it was really sandy. We slipped over quiet a lot and th only thing that got me to continue was sweets! We got to a rocky bit where we were practically climbing up! We were almost there and it had been so tiring. I was so happy when we made it to the top!!! The view was incredible we saw another volcano and we were above the clouds. The way all the equipment got up is by porters. These people carry loads of stuff you wouldn’t believe it and when we got to the area, our tents were pitched. I was with mummy and our sleeping bags looked so cosy. For the toilet, they dug a hole and put a tent up! I was very glad that I didn’t have to go number two whilst we were there. For diner we had the same as lunch and it wasn’t bad. Our sleeping bags were extra cosy and I didn’t have a bad nights sleep.

The next day we had pancakes for breakfast and climbed up early to see the sunrise 🌄. It was very pretty and I was glad we climbed up to see it. Once we were all packed up, we walked down. The sandy bit was really hard and we slipped over so many times. The way down felt much quicker even though it wasn’t really. For lunch we had spaghetti which was actually really nice. I was so happy to be off the volcano and we drove back to our nice hotel.

The next day and the next morning we played at the pool for the whole time!

  1. How lucky you were not to have to poo in the hole😄. You will be mega fit by the time you get back home. I suppose you’re going to do some 🏄‍♀️ when you get to your beach resort. I hope you haven’t had any more tummy troubles it’s so upsetting, especially when you are on holiday. Safe journey. Love Gaga ❤️

  3. The water sofas sound like good fun! Well done on the climb – it must have been great to see monkeys in their natural environment. Your photos are great – I’m very jealous of all the sun I can see whilst sitting in a rainy London! Xx

    • Hi Auntie Mary, it was very tiring climbing up but sugar is always the key! The way down felt much shorter even though it wasn’t. Hope London dries up, it’s hot every day here.

      Love hatty Xxx
